The Healthcare Christian Fellowship International has been working in the Oceania region for many years. The focus has been on medical outreach clinics to some of the Pacific Nations.

In July 2020 the Healthcare Christian Fellowship Australia was registered as a full member of the HCFI. This timing coincided with the global COVID 19 pandemic. The health care delivery models have changed and continuing to change in Australia and in many countries around the world. The need for a well-equipped structured family of Christian Health workers based in Australia was clearly identified.

Healthcare is a universal need. Spiritual care is a universal eternal need. The healthcare equipped is in a unique position to provide both.
